Over the past 40 years I have worked in many mediums: oil, watercolor, ceramics, textile design, interior design, and jewelry, only discovering glass 5 years ago.

As an artist, my work is most inspired by nature.  The way light reflects and focuses our interest complicates the design.  Never before have I been so enamored with a medium.  Glass can be incredibly strong, or very fragile, simple or ornate, transparent or opaque, functional or not...it's limitless.

To be able to take a sheet of glass and form it into something another person thinks is beautiful or interesting is wonderful.

It's as simple as that.
